SNAILS
I created snails as part of a COVID project, Swimming in the Clouds: Dreams and Videos from Covid Time, which I produced for the video collective Termite TV. 10 media artists from across the United States made films about their dreams during the pandemic. In snails, I recount a dream in which the world is ending, and I ask my mother if eating snails for survival would be an option. My daughter then interprets the dream for me. snails was shown in England, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Lithuania, Israel, and the US. Re-enacted and filmed with puppet heads from artist Kyla Kegler, performed by Lindsey Griffith, Greta Lee, and myself. (3 mins, 2021)
