10 short documentaries about my childhood home
10 short documentaries about my childhood home recounts how my sisters and I struggle to reach common ground while dealing with the sale of the family house and our mother’s move to an assisted living situation. Using paper masks, Brechtian re-enactments, and family photographs, I made this film in response to the very real drama unfolding as my mother moved from our childhood home in Starnberg, Germany. The actors are family members. (10 mins., 2008)
